Descrizione

The itinerary starts at the gate in the square of Monte di Malo. Leaving the city centre, follow the municipal road that crosses four districts: Chiumenti, Morosella, Nogara and Masovieri. Halfway between the last two, a detour leads to the wayside shrine of the Orco.

Arrived in Masovieri district, take a path that crosses the territories inhabited by the ancient maronàri. They are clearly visible and signposted by a number of name and age tags. After passing the district of Mondini di Sopra, the path, in constant uphill, reaches the district of Cima along part of the road of Rocoli.

Following the municipal road of Cima, the descent begins, passing by the cave of Pissatéla and the Buco del Soglio. Before Cechelleri district it’s possible to make a detour and go up to the cross of Soglio, from where you can admire a wide panorama of Val Leogra and the plain. The route continues on road Mondini di Sotto and then returns to the village.
