From the Buso della Rana park, go down to Santa Lucia district, where there is the old church with hexagonal plan. The trail quickly descends to the bottom of the valley, crossing the Rana River just before Cherle district.
After passing Finozzi district, continue to the lowest point of the route: Gechellina district. The uphill mule track leads to the wayside shrine of the Broje and then crosses the municipal road and reaches Gentilata district, with its little country church.
Shortly after, the medium variant of the route turns left towards the districts of Festa di Sopra and Maddalena and then goes up to the cave of Buso della Rana.
